From start to finish, I have to say this contractor was a little suspicious. The actual job did get done and we are pleased with that. We received a chimney clean. We also had asked to convert our gas fireplace to a wood fireplace. The gas insert was removed. The gas copper pipe was cut and pushed into the wall 12". A heat resistant material was applied. We paid $599 for the cleaning and $599 for the conversion plus $99 for them to come out. We contracted with 93 top services. However, two (nice) workers came out, their uniforms bore a different logo, the invoice bore yet a different name and finally we paid a Liav Goan. 4 different names in the process. As well, I was uncomfortable that the gas line to the fireplace was still a working line (though switched off). I have had to hire a plumber to come cap the line. I do believe, for $1,300, that these chimney repairmen should have had the skill to do that. While I know a professional works quickly and is worth the money for skill, I can't help feeling we were taken a bit advantage of.

Service from John was excellent, the price they charge for a chimney cleaning is way too much. For that reason alone I likely will never use them again.
