FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I will forever be a student. As a teacher your training never ends. My secret to staying inspired is to continue studying and to follow the path of my inspiration. I am always discovering new techniques, new teachers, and re-discovering old teachers and techniques. I love taking workshops, reading, and exchanging with other teachers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always knew that one day I would become a yoga teacher. I had just begun dancing professionally and then a suffered a sever ankle injury. I thought my dance career was over before it even started. I decided it was time to do a yoga teacher training certification. I chose a Teacher Trainer who specialized in rehabilitation, and prevention of injuries. During the year long training my injury healed and I was able to return to my dance career while teaching yoga simultaneously. I'm grateful now for this injury as it was the pathway for me to learn more about my body and how to recover from and prevent further injury.
