Introduction: We pride ourselves on meticulous preparation. We do not buy any processed food in our kitchen, short of high quality breads and cheeses. I often tell our customers that the only can you will find in out pantry is albacore tuna. It's true. We don't buy things in bags cans or boxes, and our customers agree, you can taste the freshness. The same preparation goes into our catering menus, whether it be an office lunch, or a formal wedding... we prepare our menu fresh for optimal nutrition and flavor. I love the immediate confirmation of a job well done that we get from our clients. Wether it be in the sandwich shop, or at a catered event, knowing that we are putting out the best product possible, and getting our customer reaction to our hard work is truly rewarding and somewhat unique to the field of food and hospitality. I love leading a team of talented chefs and servers. I love designing a party from start to finish with our clients... taking an idea and making it a reality is tremendously fulfilling.

AMAZING doesn't even come close to the experience we had with WeHo. WeHo's owner and chef prepared a delicious spread for our wedding reception. We interviewed several caterer's but was so impressed with Peter and his passion for food. He worked with our budget and found creative ways to give us more bang for our buck. In addition to his food he made an out of this world Sangria Bar that our guests loved. Peter and his team were a perfect blend of professional and personable. We will definitely hire WeHo again for future events, as will our guests (they were a hit!). No lie, a week later my mom was still talking about the food. That says something. Thanks Peter and the WeHo team.

I truly couldn't have imagined a better catering experience than West Hollywood Sausage Co. and Peter. He catered my boyfriends 30th birthday at our place and made it such a special event. First of all, his food was phenomenal. Everything from his appetizers (we got the pulled pork sliders and brie and grape quesadillas) and all of the entree dishes were incredible. People were finding me all night to ask about the catering because it was so delicious. Ive found myself craving it since. But even beyond that, he added so much to the party from how he catered it. He passed appetizers over drinks, and for dinner kept replenishing the buffet with warm and delicious food straight off of the grill. He couldn't have been more of a pleasure to work with - he made everything in planning the party very easy. On the night of, he arrived early and not only set up his grill and everything for the food, but helped me with the our rented tables and chairs and other aspects of setting up the party. I felt so at ease with his help. If you're looking for a caterer, I don't think you could do any better than Peter and West Hollywood Sausage Co. I will definitely hire them for all other events I have from here on out.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Service prices are added once the type of service is establisted. Generally for drop off service there are no additional service fees, for onsight cooking there is a $250 day rate for chef, and servers cost $25/hr. Event planning services depend on the scope of the party.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During our initial contact, I like to get a sense of the type of service that the client is looking for, before menu planning. Once the scope of the party is established, it is easier to provide menu ideas that better fit the style of service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a professional chef and event coordinator for 10 yrs. I have working in catering halls, restaurants and hospitality organizations before venturing off and starting the WeHo Sausage and Catering Co.
