Peter rocked my brunch for 50 people. Was easy to plan with (text!). Price was right. He handled all the plate and utensil rental. Food was bomb.com. Everyone raved. House cured bacon (best ever), handmade breakfast links (with dates!), house smoked salmon (with all the fixins, bagel, onions, etc), made-to-order eggs, caprese sliders, housemade chicken sausage sliders, and an in-season orchard fruit platter with cheddar. Peter came and did an 8 course tasting menu to compliment a wine tasting we were having. He was very easy to get a hold of and super responsive. Peter was easy to work with and put together a delicious menu that went very well with the wines that were served. He showed up on time and with everything he needed. His food was delicious, perfectly seasoned and artistically plated! The wine lady doing our wine tasting kept us moving at a pretty good pace and I know that put pressure on Peter to crank out his dishes but he was cool as a cucumber, pleasant and never let the rush impact the quality of his food. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Service prices are added once the type of service is establisted. Generally for drop off service there are no additional service fees, for onsight cooking there is a $250 day rate for chef, and servers cost $25/hr. Event planning services depend on the scope of the party.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?During our initial contact, I like to get a sense of the type of service that the client is looking for, before menu planning. Once the scope of the party is established, it is easier to provide menu ideas that better fit the style of service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been a professional chef and event coordinator for 10 yrs. I have working in catering halls, restaurants and hospitality organizations before venturing off and starting the WeHo Sausage and Catering Co.
