Introduction: Learn French. Reduce your native French accent or other accents. Hello, I'm Rafaella, a 24-year actress born and raised in Paris France, but have lived in the US for 15 years. I master both French and English, both without an accent. I have done a lot of French tutoring for middle-aged school kids when I was living in Miami for the Carver Middle School students and for 3 years at the RAICES Summer Camp. I absolutely love working with students and artists. Because I have no accent when speaking in English, I sound American. Especially here in LA, a lot of fellow students at my acting studio always ask how I got rid of my accent. I believe that with my advantage of having lived in both countries and mastered both languages and accents, I can more clearly help those who want to lessen or get rid of their accents permanently or coach for auditions. My most recent coaching was on set for French actress Pauline Bourquelot in the Austrian Feature film "Billionaire" by Director Edgar Honetschlager. My teaching style is very tailored to my individual students. I try to work with them to see which method is best for the students, worksheets, visuals, conversation. I also incorporate material from past lessons so we do not forget what we have learned and practice! Many people think reducing your accent or learning French is too complicated or difficult, but all you have to do is be excited and willing to learn. I get so happy too when you get it right!
