Victor did an amazing job cleaning up some overgrown agave plants, replanting firesticks and cleaning up the front of our office. He was super responsive and will definitely be working with him again!

Details: Commercial • Extra small (less than 1,000 sq ft) • No, I need help buying plants • I don't need a sprinkler or drip system installed • No, this is a one-time project • No additional services needed

We are so happy with our beautiful new garden! Victor and his son Carlos are the best - we worked with them on a major yard clean up and new planting. I sent Victor inspiration photos and a wishlist and he was able to turn that into reality. He has a great eye for design and details. We couldn’t be happier and have decided to continue working with them for regular maintenance. I highly recommend Vences and am so glad we found them. Super reliable, honest, friendly, and great at what they do!

Details: Residential • Replace an existing garden • Maintain an existing garden • Extra small (less than 1,000 sq ft) • No, I need help buying plants • 2 - 3 times a month • Trimming and edging • Weeding • Weed prevention • Leaf cleanup

I reached out to Victor through Thumbtack with a pretty detailed request for my yard. I needed someone to fix the irrigation system—including installing a new sprinkler timer, repairing valves (one wasn’t working), fixing the drip system, adding irrigation to the curb, and making sure everything was running smoothly. I also wanted the front yard redone with fresh sod, including removing bricks, leveling the dirt by the curb, and laying new grass across multiple sections.

Victor showed up, walked me through the quote, and right away I appreciated his honesty. Instead of trying to upsell me, he looked for ways to cut costs—reusing existing parts and dirt where it made sense. He replaced a bad valve, repaired what was still usable, and got the system working great without unnecessary expenses.

The sod installation was clean and well done. He leveled everything out and made sure the new grass had a proper irrigation setup. He also gave me clear tips on how to keep the lawn healthy going forward.

Now, Victor services my yard on a regular basis, and he does a great job. If you’re looking for someone who’s reliable, fair with pricing, and actually cares about doing good work, I highly recommend Victor. Honest guy, solid work ethic, and knows what he’s doing.

Details: Residential • No water to one area of sprinkler heads • No sprinkler system maintenance needed

We had Victor prune and restake a row of Podocarpus trees in our front yard, as well as level out some side trees and shrubs - he listened to my concerns, was very professional, and did a great job! He was also responsive to communication and arrived on time. Will definitely be hiring him to do more work in the future.

Details: 5 - 10 feet • Yes, but I will need help from the lawn care professional • I'm flexible • Residential
