Cornerstone Music Conservatory

Introduction: For 42 years, Cornerstone Music Conservatory (CMC) has been providing the highest quality music lessons and classes for all ages, all instruments and levels. Instruments include piano, percussion (drums, world drumming, timpani), guitar (classical, pop, jazz, flamenco), violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, french horn, saxophone, euphonium, baritone horn, tuba, and keyboard. We offer group classes for toddlers and infants, guitar workshops, keyboard and piano classes, and violin and voice workshops. Currently, we have many teachers to choose from, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs and your preferences. A prize-winning community youth orchestra meets weekly. We also teach conducting, orchestration, music theory and ear training, composition, improvisation and jazz. A music therapist is also available. Home lessons are a limited but viable option, however the stimulation and camaraderie one gets from attending CMC cannot be duplicated at home. Many of our students and former students have received top honors and awards in music competitions and have pursued music careers. Our mission is to provide a warm, friendly, inspiring, energetic environment to learn music. Our teaching faculty is one of the finest. All teachers have college music degrees and are selected for their innate ability to teach and communicate the love of music to their students. Our beautiful, new air-conditioned facilities are easy to drive to and are located where the 405 meets the 10 Freeway and are a convenient distance from shopping centers and restaurants. There is plenty of on-site parking. There is always someone available at our front desk to help you. CMC is host to many professionals who regularly perform at the Conservatory. Special student and faculty recitals are given throughout the year. Performance DVDs are available at a small fee for student members. Some partial scholarships to students are available.
