FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I would generally charge $40 for a one hour lesson. Depending on your budgetary restrictions and other factors (transportation/travel costs etc.) this could change, so once we're in contact we can iron it out :)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Figure out what the student wants to learn... then learn it! Depending on the students preference we can learn in a more "music theory based way" or we can just learn by ear. I'll always provide personalized videos after our lessons to help you practice!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music, entering the college on a scholarship as a guitarist. I also did a degree focused on the production and composition side of music, so as a side note, if you're interested in learning a little more about recording and producing your own music or composing/arranging your own music I can help with that too. I am originally from Nairobi, Kenya, and while in Kenya I taught guitar to students ranging from 6 years old to 30 so I would say I'm ready for pretty much all levels.
