Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The handyman completed some of the initial work, and the quality was good, so we scheduled him to come back to finish the remaining projects. He confirmed the appointment and even confirmed the materials needed beforehand. However, on the day of the appointment, he never showed up and completely stopped responding to calls and messages.
I understand that schedules change and unexpected situations happen, but a simple message or phone call would have been appreciated. We had set aside time, purchased materials, and planned our day around the appointment. The lack of communication was frustrating and unprofessional.
Based on my experience, I can’t recommend someone who is unreliable and doesn’t communicate with their customers.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
For many years I worked for employers like CSULB and Spectrum. Learning all that I can. Now I offer the community all that I’ve learned as a handyman and I enjoy doing it.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Most recent project was a demo and haul away. Very long and labours job but I am very fond of this kind of work, paid to exercise. It took 2 whole days, but it’s extremely rewarding to see the outcome of hard days worked.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Safety is first last and always on the job. But also when looking for someone to be in your HOME. So be sure to screen everyone and hire someone they think they can trust.
