Matt Mitchell has been instrumental in developing my career in Los Angeles; as an editorial, commercial and headshot photographer he is simply one of the most talented individuals I have ever come across. In addition to being superlatively talented, one of his greatest attributes is being able to really encourage and warm up his subjects - I have angles that can be tricky to shoot yet with Matt I am always secure in the knowledge that he knows how to bring out my best. I have worked consistently since Matt shot my first photos and yet despite the numerous campaigns I have shot within that time, I always come back to his originals upon submitting for something. He really captures the best essence of you; a feat that even the most technically accomplished photographers often can only dream of delivering.

Matthew Mitchell is the person I respect most in the entire city of Los Angeles. He is the most punctual and dependable photographer I have ever had the pleasure to work with, and because of his many powerful connections, he is the sole reason that I am currently living and modeling successfully in Los Angeles. He was my talent scout at age 15, and with the help of his incredible photography, has truly made me into the model I am today (currently signed with LA Models) In my opinion, Matthew Mitchell is one of the most brilliant people in this entire city. He can solve any problem, and handle any situation, without ever getting his fabulous gucci shoes scruffed up. He is truly a unique character and will never fail to make you laugh with his witty banter. The headshots he has taken of me have helped me book multiple fashion modeling jobs and even a few television gigs. I would trust Matthew with my life, and especially with my career.

I have been working with Matthew Mitchell since i was 17 . He started my portfolio soon after scouting me. From prep to post, this man is hands on in discussing the best direction, style and images necessary to benefit his clients' needs and look. Image consulting, book building, and sometimes even placement, I have never worked with a photographer so concerned and involved. He truly is passionate. On the technical side he is amazing. I have booked national campaigns solely off clients seeing his work in my book. The caliber of shooting is high: professional, great lighting, and a keen eye for angles. I have even seen products that he shot: he gave them personality! Matthew also has a great team. When contacting him, you will be sure that at your shoot the best hair, make up, wardrobe and assistants will be there to complete the look. I recommend Matthew for parents who's children (young) are starting out and need guidance, male and female models looking to build their book or just revamp it/add images -fashion, commercial, lifestyle, beauty, avant garde: he literally excels at these categories. I have had the pleasure to work with Mr. Mitchell several times over tha past few years and am happy to say he is a joy to work with! Very creative fun and works on bringing the best of you out in photo!I have met many photographers who tell their clients what they want to hear, which does not get the best photo results.. Matthew is honest, direct and upfront. Time and time again he has gotten the job done! And reasonably! I Highly recommend him!
