First of all, he was very responsive to our request on Thumbtack. Within minutes, we got a response and draft proposal, and we compared this with others who also replied fairly quickly. We invited Lee to come to our home as the first step. We were very pleased with his proposal and his approach.
Lee is a very hands-on designer. He has very firm ideas, but listens very passionately to what his customers want, and their limitations, not the least of which are financial limitations. Lee works really well with suppliers and contractors that we engage to make our hopes a reality. All of the products and services that he selected, many of which were custom-made for us, were fairly priced, made to our specifications with his, again, intense oversights to insure that everything is absolutely perfect for us, the customer. He is a very dedicated guy. We've used similar designers for other jobs, but his was very fairly priced.
Work came in on time as promise. What more can you ask for than that?
I recommend him to anyone in the LA area who is in need of an interiordesigner. He provides great design services, custom-made furniture options, and things like that. He has a vast array of suppliers of every quality and style you can imagine.

Working with Lee Burg was a fantastic experience. He really listened to us when we told him what we hoped to achieve with our home. And what was so amazing was that he understood even better than we did what we needed to do. He transformed our family room. which was a kind of catch all disaster area, into the heart of the house that is is warm and welcoming and admired by all our guests. He not only incorporated our aesthetic, which is somewhat traditional, country-cottage, he expanded it by adding some mid-century pieces that blend in beautifully and add a wow factor to the room as well as make it much more functional than it was before. He's also a lot of fun and very mindful of helping us spend our money wisely. I look forward to working with him again.

Lee's ability to bring out what both my husband and I wanted is incredible. He has a sixth sense that saw what we couldn't explain. The design style, options and sheer creativity was more than we expected. The entire process was a pleasure. He was always a step ahead of us and the other trades to keep everything on budget and on schedule. We are looking forward to the next phase of updated our Silver Lake home in 2019 with Lee. Highly recommended.

I've been extremely happy with the results of the many projects that I've done with 3D Design Studio. Their eye for detail is extraordinary and the concepts and designs are incredibly creative.
FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a reasonable hourly rate that is billed monthly. I have a set fee for a one time consultation. I never mark up goods or services or other vendors and I pass all my professional interior design discounts onto my clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meeting. Finding out what they want to achieve, their style and timeframe and budget. Then working together we set out and make their perfect interiors happen.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
UCLA BA in general Design; FIT for textile design and Pratt Institute for Masters in Architectural Interior Design
