- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices for face painting start at $75 per hour with 2 hours min ( including 1 artist for 2 hours of face painting ), OR one (1) balloon artists for 2 hours including balloon twisting starting at $100 per hour with 2 hours min If you book me in the first contact ( phone call ) you will also get FREE temporary tattoos OR FREE glitter tattoos ( upon availability ), I also offer combo 1 face painting w/ balloons $175 for 2 hours, all prices described above are BASIC PACKAGES, good for Los Angeles County , if you need a more detailed artwork I also have the DELUX PACKAGES. PHOTOBOOTHS are available for bookings with 4 hours min as an ADD ON with any service described above ( 4 hours of combo above + photobooth starts at $800 for FOUR HOURS, it must be booked together ) I also offer other options and other services such as Henna tattoos, fancy balloons such as balloon characters, and I have ONE friendly clown that works with me as an ASSISTANT for extra charge and caricaturist ( starts at $100 /h). - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is IDEAL to book THE entertainment at least 2 months in advance My booking process is very friendly, easy and I always try to keep it simple: The client usually calls or text me , since I have most of the FAQ answered here or @ my website: facepaintersla.com, most the time the clients just calls me to make sure I'm available for their event/ party and book me ( sending the deposit via paypal.com along with the information of their event/ party ). After I get the information and the 50% deposit I will reserve their date and time on my booking calendar, usually, the client calls me a week before their event to touch basis and chit-chat (about how excited they are and give me any special instructions -) at the day of the event I usually arrive earlier to set it up ( the client provides one table and two chairs where the face painting station will be set), I usually set up in 10 minutes and - LET'S THE FUN BEGINS !
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have BA in Fine Arts, I'm a SAG / AFTRA, I studied makeup and special FX by Makeup Academy in Hollywood, I also have a BA in theater makeup ( Brazil) and I'm in this business since 2000
