MKC was all that I hoped it would be and a whole lot more. Margaret is a an incredible mentor with lots of experience in the field of makeup, fashion, and photography. Her talent is evident from the very first day of instruction. To become a highly sought after artist in the entertainment industry one must possess and apply their best skill sets. Just as importantly, they must maintain a high level of emotional intelligence and mental stability. Margaret understands the personal challenges an entry level artist is likely to face, and her keen intuition and expansive knowledge provides her the ability to prepare her students for way more than just makeup application.

First let me say I love Margaret and her school, so accomplished and skilled in her field, it was a pleasure and a wonderful ride. I felt I was in very safe hands and i knew that I would walk away with a well rounded set of skills that would serve me for life. Margaret creates an environment that allows your creative ability to flow. Artists are born from this style of teaching and they grow and thrive. Other schools do not have the personal touch like this one did for me. I did Private lessons with Margaret and they were AMAZING! She is awesome! She got back to me immediately after I contacted MKC Academy. I was signed up and ready to go within the week! She asked me exactly what kind of training I was looking for and made sure she customized the training with my needs. Before my private training she asked me to gather ideas of exactly what I wanted to learn and bring them in so she can address them. When I arrived she was very sweet and welcoming. I felt very comfortable. As far as the training went, she built my confidence level up in just one day. We covered everything I wanted to learn plus more! She let me take home the doll head for my homework which really helped a lot! She basically helped me to realize that I can accomplish anything I wanted to in the beauty industry! After my sessions she kept in contact with me to make sure I was okay and said I could contact her any time in the future if I had any questions, which is a very settling feeling to have ! Margaret is awesome and I highly recommend her for whatever you are trying to achieve in the beauty industry!

MKC is the best makeup school hands down, you not only learn how to do makeup, you learn skills to succeed in this industry. Margaret Kimura is one of the finest teachers on the planet. Experience in Margaret`s school MKC Beauty Academy was just wonderful! I graduate in 2009. I loved the whole training, teachers and methods was very inspiring and motivating! I was lucky to win the school competition to go to Milano for the first time! Now Im leaving my dream being makeup artist in the fashion world, Im living in Paris and I work for one of the biggest fashion magazines and fashion houses! I highly recommend MKC Makeup Academy! I started in the industry when we could not rely on Photoshop. Currently Margaret has transitioned as a Beauty Portrait and Fashion Photographer. Her first true passion that has lead her to becoming the Makeup artist that she is. Still deeply immersed in doing Makeup for her own photographic works of art: her in demand with her clientele keep her calendar busy from both makeup and photography. Photography is now a very important part of her journey and she is excited to see how this path will open new avenues to her vision..
