Introduction: When I first started making up women, I instantly felt the power of it--how it makes one feel and gives one confidence. While I was working make-up artist prior, my training at KRYOLAN Academy has vastly advanced my knowledge in make-up artistry both in creative aspects of beauty and fashion as well as in my understanding of technical aspects of make-up from colors to details. Additionally, having the opportunity to travel the world as a free-lance makeup artist, has given me the opportunity to explore and broaden my creativity and enhance my understanding of the influence and diversity of different cultures. In addition to my work in fashion, I have extensive bridal makeup experience providing hair styles and makeup for brides in the United States and throughout Europe and Asia. This experience has given me a broad knowledge of what is culturally acceptable and relevant makeup styles and practices.

Annaliza did an amazing job on my wedding hair and makeup! She took so much time and care during the trial that I already knew I had made a good decision. I had previously tried a different MUA who made me look like a totally different person, but I feel like Annaliza highlighted my features so I could still feel like myself. She also did my mom's hair and makeup and it turned out great. My hairstyle and makeup also lasted all day and night!

Annaliza is amazing. She did my makeup for a wedding I was attending. She was on time, very professional and friendly. I don't usually trust my face to someone else (since I pretty much know how to do my own makeup). Also, I had never had my makeup done by Annaliza so I basically just took a risk and hoped she would make me look lovely. Also, I'm black and I was concerned that she may not have experience with black skin and that the foundation she would use would be the wrong shade (I've had tons of makeup artists who are basically clueless about makeup on women of color). Needless to say I had no reason to be concerned. I wanted a glam but natural look and she delivered. She made me look flawless, took into consideration the dress I was wearing and even suggested another shade of lipstick she thought would look better with the dress (I originally wanted red). Boy, was she right. The color she chose was perfect ans I never would have picked it for myself. She went the extra mile to leave me a sample so I could touch up my lipstick throughout the day. The interesting thing is that I never had to do that or touch up any of my makeup over a 12 hour period. I not only looked glam but also natural and that's not easy to pull off. Also, she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed that I actually fell asleep when she was doing my makeup. Finally, I never write reviews, but Annaliza surpassed my expectations so I decided to write one. Annaliza is plain simple, just fabulous. Next time I want my makeup done for an event I'm definitely calling her.

My makeup was amazing, I didn’t have to tell her what I wanted, she did what worked my face and skin...she asked about my skin and my background so she can determine what products to use on me. Also her personality is amazing, loved her!
