I started out as a makeup artist out in LA, moved to Denver for a year and now I often travel between LA and Denver to work with brides and production teams. I am a big believer of natural makeup and enhancing the structure of the face with the right color theory. I am SO happy that we were able to hire Yuya for our wedding makeup (bride, mother of bride, sister-in-law, mother of the groom). First of all, her personality is delightful! She is very kind, fun, and gentle with her makeup application. I like natural-like makeup and although I worried about being too demanding/picky, she understood my concerns right away and gave all of us something we loved! Yuya is super easy to work with and incredibly talented!!! I have never seen someone apply such straight eyeliner! I am very impressed!! I highly recommend Yuya!!

I love working with Yuya. Her makeup skill is amazing, and the tools she used were well cleaned. I loved how my makeup looked. The whole experience was so fun as well. Definitely would want to work with her again.

Yuya was absolutely amazing! I hired her to do my makeup for my elopement style wedding. I explained to her I don’t typically wear a lot of makeup, so I wanted to make sure I still had a natural look. She knocked it out of the park! I felt so incredibly beautiful. She is also the sweetest person ever and made me feel so comfortable like we had been friends for years. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!!

Yuya is my go to recommendation for any and all professional make-up needs. I first worked with Yuya on a highly stylized artistic photo shoot that I was art directing and photographing. The absolute mastery that she demonstrated in applying my direction to perfectly compliment the model with awareness to the costuming and setting was unreal. Additionally she was fast, which kept a full day’s shoot on schedule. I’ve yet to meet another make up artist that can match Yuya’s skills and abilities.
