- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My class is usually 35 dollars for per hour,how long each class lasts is up to u, if u pay it once for 20classes ,I will give u a 10% discount .
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually I’ll have a demo class for the students first, which can let us know each other better, like my teaching style, the students’ level , demands about learning mandarins, and also some information about our life, like what the students r interested in, etc. These will help me a lot when preparing for next lessons, cuz I usually add some parts on their interests while teaching , which will add more fun for class and guide the student to learn quickly. Then I’ll customize a lesson plan for students according to their level, demands and expectations. And we can set the class time when we r both available, and I’ll also share my different social medias like facebook, Instagram, TikTok, wechat, or HelloTalk to my students ,I post videos via them which can help my student learn more knowledges, they can follow me each one as which is convenient for them. Next, we’ll start to have class regularly, I always encourage my student to interact me more after class, cuz I’m a naive Chinese and also a teacher, interacting more with me will practice one’s Chinese quickly during learning, so why not? And this can also let me know more where u r weak in , which also do favors for the class preparations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Formal training in teaching and language learning, and for myself I’m also a language learner , I studied English when I was 4, so I’m quite aware of the skills , demands and easy way of learning a language, which I can give u many advices.
