Hayden and his team provide service that surpasses my expectations for a moving company. Having hired them for three separate moves, I can assuredly say their work never wanes—thorough, organized, skilled, consistent, professional, and kind with each move. Moving is stressful as it is, so I especially appreciate not having to unnecessarily supervise and direct the move—they are entirely competent and self-directed in their work. I don’t have to ask them twice to complete tasks, which is rare these days. Very easy to work with, accommodating, efficient, and good communication. They are so careful with handling furniture, wrapping personal belongings, and not causing damage to the home. I’m pretty OCD about that kind of stuff, so that’s saying a lot! If you’re looking to hire a foreman to oversee a large or complicated move, One Day Movers will skillfully deliver on that. They offer reasonable rates and conduct business ethically and honestly. All the glowing reviews here are no wonder!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our rate is $150/hr for 2 movers with a 2 hr minimum with very few exceptions. Any additional movers are $50/hr extra. Distances over 10 miles cost $3/mi. Items weighing over 250 lbs are another $100 on top of the hourly rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We ask some questions to get as much information about the job. Discuss any details and give a rough estimate of the price based on our experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our movers have backgrounds from previous moving services. We know how to pack and transport your fragile and important items with professionalism and timeliness.
