Garr is a hard worker, artistic, and a people lover. He works well with others, and is willing to take on any job. Garr worked with our company as a stage technician, event production assistant. Many talents! We enjoyed working & creating successful events together. We miss him!

In my opinion, Garr is an exceptional artist himself, and the love he holds for music is eloquent of his overall nature. His own music is both emotive and detailed, direct and nuanced, and I feel this creativity, ebullience and refinement extends to his teaching as well. He is insightful and respectful--like all true artists and all true teachers--of the individual, and fundamentally sensitive to helping students on their own distinct, expressive paths.

I've followed Garr's musical endeavors for more than 20 years, both in solo and group contexts. He is enormously talented not only as a musician but also at helping others become better. Garr Montalbano is a first-rate musician and composer and I have learned so much from him over the years. He has taught me many invaluable things about technique on the keyboards, voice and stage presence. He is understanding, patient and kind which is very hard to find in a music teacher! I would recommend Garr to anyone who wants to learn the basics of music theory all the way to self-expression, composition and beyond!
