- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask my new clients to fill out an in-depth health form and food-journal so I can get a clear picture of your health history, and current health. I then create a plan unique to your needs and lifestyle. During our first session we will discuss your goals and challenges so I have a better understanding of how to help. I'll look to uncover the root cause of the problem so you can reach your goals and optimal health! Sessions are 60 minutes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Suddenly, I found myself in a gradual decline of health and vitality. I was hormonal, emotional, severely bloated, chronically exhausted. My hair was falling out by the handfuls, weight was creeping up on the scale, acne took over my once clear skin, and I had developed an allergy to most foods. I was unable to function in any capacity. Making it through a day was a struggle and the thought of doing it again tomorrow was too much. This all coming from a person who previously would work out 1-2 times a day, played beach volleyball, and always enjoyed a very active and social lifestyle. Within the first year I spent hours researching health and nutrition options, visited with at least 25 health practitioners, and traveled to one of the most prestigious medical centers in the US. My health bewildered every healthcare professional I visited, they either sent me to another specialist or told me it was all in my head. I received zero answers and zero relief. In fact my health had drastically declined. Leaving me deflated, confused, frustrated and sicker than ever. I HAD ENOUGH! I began to focus all my attention on a holistic approach. I read every book I could get my hands on, listened to wellness podcasts, visited tons of holistic practioners, ate organic whole foods, and cut toxins out of my diet and life. My mission in life was to heal myself holistically. Together with my dedication to nutrition and my work with amazing gifted practitioners I feel healthier, empowered, and educated. My passion now is to help others discover the healthiest version of themselves!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find a provider that listens to your needs and takes time to understand your goals and lifestyle. Patience and compassion are so important when finding a health coach. I'd recommend working with a coach that provides unique advice based on your personal needs and not a one size fits all diet or cookie cutter program.
