Courtney was so responsive when I needed a photographer on a few days notice. Our sweet old dog was in her final days and we wanted to capture some family photos. Courtney was empathetic, made herself available and was so sweet to our pup. The photos captured everyone’s personality so well. Courtney did an amazing job photographing my daughter’s 4th birthday party! We recently moved here from NY and did not know any Santa Monica based photographers so we are very thankful we came across Courtney’s profile. She was such a joy to have at the event and over the top friendly and helpful. There were about 40 kids under the age of 5 at the party so lots of chaos and we loved being able to enjoy playing with them and the event instead of chasing everyone around snapping photos on our phones. Courtney did a great job marrying our desire to get lots of fun candids of all the kids and still find time to clear some space for photos of just the birthday girl and family. Her turnaround time was extremely quick (we received all the edited photos just 2 days later!) and the final shots turned out amazing! The lighting is vibrant and bright - perfect party day photos! She did a great job capturing the day and we are already discussing what we will hire her for next. As someone who came to Thumbtack completely blind and unsure of what to expect, I enthusiastically recommend Courtney for any photography needs you might have. It was truly such a pleasure meeting her and having her join and capture the party.
