I was so pleased with my finished project! My husband was given a picture of his grandfather that had been ripped across the face. I didn’t think the photo could be repaired. I reached out through Thumbtack and was contacted by a nice man at Image Restoration within minutes. The communication was quick, easy and consistent, and I received the photo in just a few days. I asked the Image Restoration Center to restore a small, badly faded black-and-white picture of my cousin and the woman who raised him as a young boy in the 1940s. They did a tremendous job in three days, creating realistic color and bringing out many details that were scarcely visible in the original. I was able to print it out as a 5x7 without loss of quality. My cousin loved it - he got tears in his eyes. It made his Christmas. - Scott

Emily and her team are absolute angels! I have been working on a very extensive family history project for the last couple of years, which includes restoring and colorizing family photos from as far back as 1903! Photo restoration pricing starts at $34.95 for a basic restoration but can vary depending on the damage such as rips, tears, water damage, facial reconstruction, etc. Most photos fall between $34.95 and $80. We also have additional discounts for submitting multiple photos.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically a customer will send us the photos they would like to have restored via our website, email, or through Thumbtack. We can provide a quick and simple quote based on the photos or you can use the self checkout on our website to get a quote yourself.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team has extensive experience in photo restorations and the tools that are necessary to do the work. Photo restorations are half technical knowledge and have artistic interpretations. Our team is skilled at bringing these two worlds together to create the best photo possible for years to come.
