FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in a family of photographers, so I've had a camera in hand as long as I can remember. I started taking headshots because friends needed them and I discovered that the process was something I really loved. Capturing people at their best is something that continues to excite me. From there I began to really explore my camera and learn all about what I could do with it. I'm at my happiest taking photos, be they landscape, art, portraits or events. No matter what, I'm so happy to be continuing to learn and grow in this profession.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
As a photographer who works in a number of different areas, this answer changes depending on my client. No matter what, my goal at the end of the day is to make my clients happy. If there is something you need to make you feel more comfortable about the process, I will do my absolute best to ensure that it gets done.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your research. It's a saturated market and finding out who is right for you can take time. Look at a lot of photographer's portfolios and contact them all. Rates aside, it is very important that the photographer that you hire is someone who you feel comfortable with. It's a personal thing. Don't be afraid to ask lots of questions even if you think they're silly. I can almost guarantee you that they aren't.
