Hi! My name is Sean Lynch and I’m a professional drummer and teacher. I offer individualized lessons plans covering rhythmic fundamentals, technique, improvisation, and repertoire. I teach all ages, skill levels, and styles (rock, blues, jazz, gospel, R&B, hip hop, marching band, classical). I’d love to help you get to the next level in your playing, whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced student looking to become a professional. I look forward to working with you!
A little about my background:
I am a professional jazz and gospel drummer in the Philadelphia music scene with a degree from the University of North Texas in jazz performance drum set. I won the national TAW competition playing with U-TUBES ensemble in 2017. Many of my students have gone on to attend collegiate music programs and I regularly give clinics at local community colleges and universities. My students describe me as having an enthusiastic attitude that inspires a love of music. I have a huge heart for teaching and connecting with my students on an individual level.
