- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard $65 for a 45 minutes private session; 55 minute private session is $75 or Semi-privates $45 per person. Other discounts apply for more than one session per week. We accept most PPO insurance for Physical Therapy and Chiropractic Care benefits copays apply. I would have to verify with the insurance to confirm eligibility.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial visit will include asking questions to determine the client's health, lifestyle, injuries, current fitness goals in addition too learning about their likes and dislikes and working within their range and preferences while offering a comprehensive and thorough routine that will encourage and inspire a safe fitness program, body awareness and suggestions for a continued healthy lifestyle.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to my Pilates mat and equipment certification from Body, Arts and Science International (aka BASI is one of the few accredited and elite pilates certification courses recognized by industry professionals) I also have extensive fitness experience (over 30 years). Starting in my mother's calisthenics/dance studio in Brentwood, CA in the 1980's, I am also an avid runner and have completed several marathons in addition to training several professional athletes during their recovery at Physical Therapy & Chiropractic offices/centers. I have been working along side Chiropractors and Therapists for over 10 years and have been able to apply several therapeutic techniques to increase recovery while strengthening. My experience includes: osteoporosis, scoliosis, MS, RA, carpal tunnel, ACL, Meniscus (knee), cervical (neck), Hip flexor/extensor issues, Back issues: lumbar lordisis, kyphosis, slip/fused discs, ankle, & plantar fasciatis and core balance issues just to name a few.
