FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I could never workout or participate in PE as a kid as I had really bad asthma. As I got older I worked hard not to let my Asthma stop me from being physical. I hated that my asthma restricted me in participating. I knew that I had to make my lungs and body stronger and so I slowly started doing the things they should I couldn't do. It was hard and I over did it many times. Training myself to strengthen my lungs and body helped me to help others who wanted to do the same. Friends asked me to help them and somehow it turned into just something that people called me to help them do. I loved helping friends and seeing them get stronger and then I decided to teach group classes, got certified and then moved into personal training got certified for that. Pilates was something that was the next step to add to my list of specialities. It just made sense.
