Hi there, I'm Rachel! I am a photographer specializing in portrait photography. I am so passionate about what I do and I love meeting new people of all ages, as well as their furry companions! Bring them along in the photoshoot. Ultimately, my goal is to capture the special memories you and your loved ones will look back on for years to come.
A little bit about me - I personally love stories! Musicals, books, song lyrics, and art are all great forms of story-telling. But personally (and I may be a bit biased), I believe that photographs are the best and most authentic form of just that. Photographs are able to capture pure and candid moments in a way that I believe no other medium can, and those moments are exactly what I live for.

I was very happy with Rachel and everything turned out amazing. She responded really fast, showed up early, and helped us with so much more than just taking pictures. She helped me figure out where to stand, how to pose, and made the whole thing really easy and comfortable. Rachel was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately she sustained an injury right before our scheduled photo shoot to where we both agreed that she should stay home to protect her from further injury. She was so quick to let me know the situation and came immediately with a plan of action to still have a photographer we were comfortable with come to take photos for our engagement. While she wasn't able to physically take the photos, she did edit the photos and they were beautifully done. I would happily refer others to her!

Rachel is amazing! She took our maternity photos at El Matador Beach which was pretty crowded and made sure we got all the best shots. Her turnaround for receiving the final edited pictures was pretty quick and her quality of work was absolutely amazing! The pictures turned out so beautiful & we will cherish them forever! She was willing to do anything even standing in rough waters to get the perfect shot for us. She gave great instruction and made us feel super comfortable to get the most natural looking pictures. I can’t recommend Rachel enough. She was super friendly, easy to reach and very professional. I will definitely be reaching out for any future family portraits, shoots etc.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal is get to know you and your loved ones! I want all of you to feel as comfortable as possible and hopefully also feel that I am the best fit for you. I am happy to hop on a 15 minute phone call or answer any questions you may have via email if you prefer, regarding my prices, outfit & location ideas, etc.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been photographing people since I was in highschool! I still remember when I was gifted my first hand-me-down camera from my cousin and absolutely fell in love. I have photographed everything from proposals, to families, and even to furry friends (they make for excellent/very cute subjects for christmas cards :)). Photography isn't just a hobby for me but a passion and I believe that it translates in my work.
