FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will spend some time at the top of the session discussing your current health-emotional and physical- and determining what your interest is for your reiki session. You will then spend 45-50 minutes relaxing on the table with soundscapes and aromatherapy to aid you in relaxing into the session. Sometimes clients fall asleep or drift off into a very dreamy place. Sometimes clients experience auditory, visual, or physical sensations, or have profound emotional releases or realizations. I like to incorporate sound bowl therapy and other healing modalities into my sessions to cater each experience to the client's needs. At the end of the session we will debrief about the experience and determine action steps that the client can take into their daily lives between sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Reiki Master Teacher, meaning I have been trained and attuned not only to practice reiki, but to train others as well. Additionally, I am a Certified Integrative Energy Therapy Practitioner. I have experience working with sound bowls, aromatherapy, crystal healing therapy, and some shamanic and pranic healing work as well. I have worked with sports injuries, emotional conflicts and trauma, chronic pain, and easing end of life transition for terminal patients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I came to reiki through my own journey of growth and healing, therefore I am extremely passionate about the work because I have lived a testimony of it working in my own life.
