FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hello, and thanks for checking out my profile. I value clear communication, and I want my pricing to reflect that from the start, so you have a realistic sense of what to expect. For a full 8-hour filming day based in Los Angeles, my flat rate starts at $800. Editing is billed separately, and I generally recommend budgeting at least 50% of the filming total as a starting point. For example, an $800 filming day would typically start around $400 for editing, for an estimated total of $1,200. Travel jobs are quoted differently. For projects 50+ miles outside Los Angeles, mileage is billed at $0.70 per mile, so a 100-mile round trip would add $70. For projects 100+ miles out, I may expense a hotel stay before or after filming, depending on the schedule, plus a $60/day per diem. For clients seeking frequent or ongoing monthly work, I’m happy to offer discounted pricing when we can agree on a schedule of at least 3 months and a scope that aligns with both our goals. Additional crew, if needed, is quoted separately. Custom pricing is also available for smaller projects once the scope is clear. Please feel free to reach out. I’d be glad to hear more about your project and put together a quote that fits your needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by learning about your goals, timeline, budget, and creative needs so I can recommend the right approach. From there, I provide a clear quote and keep the process organized and straightforward from filming through final delivery.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my BFA in Film Production from Emerson College. I also have over 10 years of hands-on experience in commercial, corporate, and film production.
