- What types of customers have you worked with?
Everything I do is CUSTOM DESIGNED to SUIT THE INDIVIDUAL NEEDS OF EACH CLIENT Writing and Performing Ceremonies including: Wedding Ceremonies, Baby Blessings, Baby Namings, Memorials, Commitment Ceremonies, House Blessings and House Clearings, Partnership Blessings and other rites of passage. I offer Relationship Coaching utilizing THE STATE OF GRACE DOCUMENT. I offer Stress Reduction Coaching and Personalized Visualization and Contemplation Exercises that I create in personal sessions. I offer wedding planning and consultation services that range from initial idea and concept development all the way to full planning services.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When Hiring a Wedding Officiant it is important to choose someone you feel comfortable with and who you know will take good care of you. Ask questions about what their service includes and how much experience they have. For instance, many officiants will not offer rehearsal services because they feel it is not financially rewarding enough. I offer rehearsal services and can not only be present, but because i have wedding planning experience, I can also run the rehearsal for couples who have not engaged a wedding planner. At A Ceremony of the Heart, we also offer Wedding Planning Services and can provide a package including those services. Ask for references or online reviews that are written by the actual ciient. Unless a client is out of state I always meet with the couple in person and spend several hours with them to give information and answer questions. I also give license information which many officiants do not do, yet it is the responsibility of the officiant to be sure the license is signed and returned, at least via mail to the county clerk. If someone tries to rush you rather than take time and care in discussing your needs, I would advise moving on to someone who cares enough about your big day to invest the time with you to be sure you get all your questions answered.
