Introduction: Rhode Island based Photographer and Video Producer- I offer content creation for small and medium sized businesses.
Whether shooting headshots of you and your team, product shots for new marketing, an interview for your website or a teaser video for social media, I want to be your partner in visual communication. Helping you share big ideas in simple ways.
Originally from Rhode Island, I moved to Los Angeles after graduating from URI to pursue a career in theatre. After eighteen years, I decided to move back to be closer to my family. I now live happily in Newport with my amazing wife and our adorably aloof dog.
While in L.A., I was fortunate enough to work with some very talented people.
Most recently, I worked as G.M. and in-house Photographer and Director for Aesthesia Studios, a multi-studio facility and production house. I headed up internal still, video and live productions for a variety of commercial clients including Twitter, Benefit Cosmetics, Vivaio Days, Robin Piccone, Broadcast Medical and Woven Digital. As a start up company, I was fortunate enough to build this company to one of Los Angeles top boutique studios. While there, I also founded the Analogue Portrait Project with Month of Photography LA and the Lucie Foundation.
Prior to Aesthesia, I freelanced in photography and live broadcast production. Some highlights include Broadcast Operations Supervisor for TMZ and Live Consultant for Maker Studios and Mundo Fox Ch. 22. Other noteworthy clients include, Abex, Coldwell Banker, Comedy Central, Google Talks, Runaway Runway, The MovieGuide Awards, Virtual Reality L.A. and We Spark Cancer Center.
Spending my first half dozen years in L.A.freelancing with several theatres, I moved my focus from theatre to broadcast in 2005 when I was invited to be part of the team that launched the Emmy Award winning network Current TV. I was with Current for over six years, progressing from Director of Photography to Live Studio Director and finally Director of Production for the LA studio.
The experience I have working in both the creative and technical sides of commercial production, allows me the unique ability to give your business tools normally reserved for larger companies, with the goal of helping move you from where you are to where you can be.
I look forward to working with you soon.

I've always been a bit of an introvert and at a very young age I got my first camera. Originally I felt comfortable with the camera because I could hide behind it. When I began working professionally as a content and media creator I began to realize the power of visual communication. I began to embrace the collaborative nature of it all and really began to realize the power of simplicity and nuance in an image. Today it's about the process, a process I used to hid behind now allows me to be bold and resolute.
