Singing Lessons

So nice. And very knowledgeable. It’s almost like she understood exactly what I was saying. Very positive. Can’t wait to see what more she can teach me

I’m not really a “yoga” kind of guy, but Lisa made our session together fun, relaxing, and surprisingly difficult. Will book again. Maybe I actually am a “yoga” guy!
Lisa Ermel's reply
Thanks, Jeremy! I may be biased, but I think you are! See you next time.

Lisa is always present and providing a voice to her clients. She works hard to make sure there is a healthy balance between allowing yourself the space to work to your ability, and the space to set personal, informed goals, and push yourself to reach them.
Lisa Ermel's reply
Thank you so much Katie! It is so good to work with you.

I loved working with Lisa! They are extremely knowledgable about the human body and gave helpful adjustments without overwhelming me. They also established a warm, safe, and open environment. I left the session feeling soothed and strengthened. Highly recommend!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My rate is $80/session, but I dedicate a portion of my practice to sliding-scale clients. If you are requiring a lesser fee, please feel free to reach out and I can accommodate.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Every human is so brilliantly unique; it's very important to me to treat each new client as such. I will send a questionnaire ahead of our first session to learn about your goals, needs, and any history you would like me to know about beforehand, and I will carefully plan our sessions tailored to what I learn.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I received my 200RYT certification through the Mazé Method. Here I studied under the world-renowned Noah Mazé, and his collaborator Rocky Heron. My trauma-informed training was with Exhale to Inhale, a company founded in honor of survivors to provide a powerful resource for healing from trauma to survivors of domestic violence & sexual assault. My MFA training as an artist was with USC School of Dramatic Arts' graduate acting program. It was here that I learned voice-work by way of Linklater Technique, advanced Jerzy Grotowski movement exploration, and the well-acclaimed Alexander Technique for presence and breath support, all through master teachers of each subject.
