We needed 4 videos produced and shot for our organization. Jeff came in at the beginning and collaborated with us on our final product. We have an ongoing relationship with him and will continue to work with him for the foreseeable future. So far we have used his company not only for video but for photography as well. His attention to detail, eye for photography and his design-eye are impeccable.
She is an amazing photographer and works amazingly well with clients of all ages! Our graduation photos were phenomenal and I couldn't of asked for someone better. She adapted well with scenery changes and she gave very helpful tips/advice when posing and making pictures creative! Loved her photography and her personality!
I enjoy looking at photography.. I am home bound, so I don't get out side much. I have been watching Emily's pictures. Weather Wedding, Senior,Baby or Family. her eyes & mind see much more than the subject itself. At final view, one sees more dimension, clarity & connection. This young lady is far ahead of her years.
We used Echo Media for our family Christmas pictures and we couldn't be happier. They gave us all of the images and let us have the rights to them so we printed pictures for gifts-it was a fun experience!
It is fully satisfying and actually makes memories alive through the creative touch all over.
I focus on timeless, relevant and appropriate designs that help either my clients' or businesses' needs and that portray and/or communicate messages and feelings through visual art.
I offer outstanding natural light photography, specializing in traditional to contemporary style with over 20 years of lighting experience. I also do large format and film, specializing in black and white. Why fix it in photoshop when you can get it right the first time?
I am a San Francisco Bay Area based portrait photographer. I started out as an award-winning photojournalist and transitioned into being a commercial photographer who has covered every aspect of photography.
I am a portrait photographer. I do weddings, seniors, infants, families, maternity, digital paintings, watch me grow, etc.
More than snapshots, we are: - event photographers capturing colorful images of swirling light in dimly lit, smoke-filled music halls - product photographers getting shots of all the little details from a dress and shoes right down to table centerpieces - photojournalists blending into the walls and capturing a mother's tears shed behind her daughter's back - traditional photographers directing Aunt Jane and Uncle Henry to opposite sides of the group photo so as to avoid any awkward quips back and forth - portrait artists envisioning windswept hair against a glowing sunset and then having the means by which to create art, worthy of your mantle place Today's wedding photographers must be all these things and more. It goes so far beyond simply taking a picture, and yet all of these different types of photography must occur on one day, one right after the other, sometimes even simultaneously. And yet, the work doesn't end there. In the days of film, the photographer sent off rolls of film to a developer who made adjustments for them. While similar options are available to today's digital shooters, Melody and David follow through with the artistic intent conceived at the moment of capture and process their photos in the same way a film developer would have in days of old. Our First Date You can look at all the galleries in the world, read testimony after testimony from happy brides and amazed bridesmaids, but at the end of the day, when you're trying to decide on your photographer, you end up having to take someone at their word. It's a leap of faith. Will you get along? Will they provide what they say? Do the people they photograph really look like that? You can't know the answers to any of these questions until after you've already signed on the dotted line, or at least that is how it is with other photographers. Melody and David understand those fears and concerns; we've been there. When we look back at our own wedding photos, we shake our heads and think, "if only ". We don't want any of our couples to be in that same spot. That's why we provide a free, no-strings-attached engagement session to every couple that meets with us. Let's get together and chat over coffee. You can look at our work; get to know us; go over any questions you might have, and set up a date for a free hour and a half engagement session. You're not obligated to buy anything. When you end up signing with us, we even give you a matted 11x14 print from the session as a thank you. More than Trust The engagement session is not a gimmick. It's just as much us getting to know you as it is about you getting to know us. Photography is not an exact science; it's an interaction between the photographer and the subject. It's people communicating, cracking jokes, and giving directions. It's sort of like a date, but it doesn't end at hitting it off. After an engagement session, we go home and analyze the photographs and the session as a whole. What lighting worked well, what color tones compliment best, what's her good side, which angle doesn't work for him, does he blink a lot when nervous, do they like being directed, or do they do better when they feel like they're alone? Trust us. You don't want your photographer figuring that out the day of your wedding. We believe so strongly in the engagement session that we've even done them a week before a wedding, even after the bride said, "We don't have to do it. You don't have to go through all of that extra work right before the wedding". Sure, it's not necessary. It's like going in for a test on something you already know. Even if you can do it in your sleep, you still review your notes beforehand, and this is no different. Melody and David show up prepared, and the engagement session is part of being prepared. What's in a Name Another important note is that you always get both of us. We wouldn't be Melody and David Photography if we sent someone else in our stead or if only one of us showed up. We are a team, and that's what you get with all of our wedding packages. There are subtle differences in the way we approach our craft, but in a blind test, we find that clients generally make selections from both of our shots, regardless of how different they might be. David was that goofy guy back in high school who got most artistic of his senior class. He came to photography many years after studying graphic design and animation at the Academy of Arts in San Francisco. He has worked with Photoshop for the past 12 years and has honed his ability to shave pounds from photos without anyone being the wiser, or even eliminate entire office buildings if it's necessary. He brings structure and a careful crafting of light to his shots. He's fond of symmetry, depth, and the dramatic feel of deep shadows. Melody started with art back in grade school, creating portraits by using only cheap make-up products on watercolor paper and progressed to oil painting late in high school. She began learning photography out of a necessity of her job, as the adviser for the yearbook at the high school on where she teaches, it was up to her to guide her students to take compelling photographs to fill the yearbook. Her growth in art and design came about much more organically and is reflected in the way that she shoots. She has a penchant for capturing subtle expressions that often go unseen. She's fond of golden sunlight, spontaneity, and genuine smiles. Happily Ever After In the end, we approach your wedding the way we approach our own marriage, as a team. We are skilled artists who flow seamlessly from portraiture to photojournalism to fine detail photography while still having the experience to account for those unpredictable and less-than-ideal elements of event photography so as to capture your day artistically and beautifully.
