FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you want cheap and fast work please contact someone else because it’s not going to be good. If you expect quality work that is professionally done and insured, expect to pay more than handyman prices. At this day and age many clients want cheap labor and fast work but it rarely accounts for quality job completion. We provide detailed estimates and let clients ask questions if they have any concerns or need additional explanation in regards of the costs. We are very transparent with our clients and that’s the key to establish trust before going into the project. For any older homes that we work at, I always recommend clients to be prepared for the unexpected and set aside 20-30% of extra budget (e.g. plumbing, electrical, framing issues are common upon demo to the studs)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we provide the estimate for the work. The second we offer design services so that our customers can see the real life picture of proposed project. That helps a lot so customers can pinpoint the materials and finishes for the projects. Then we set out the timeline for work that includes labor, materials purchase and deliveries, and inspections. Upon completion of the project, we provide our clients with progress photos. All clients are very satisfied and always refers to the friends and families for any construction projects.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Engineering degree, contractor license, project management, business management, over 30 years in construction field.
