David is a honest, kind, humble and does what he says he’s going to! He has quality builders who don’t cut corners, and he delivered a huge deck remodel (600sqft, 14’ tall, with new structural engineering) in the time he said he would (6wks demo+build) and on budget. The only delay was an from an architect outside of his control.
Excited to work with him again!

We needed to replace two load-bearing beams on the porch of our 1908 bungalow. It was important to us that the new beams match the other beams on the porch in quality and appearance. Some additional custom work was needed to accomplish that. We got bids from 2 contractors for our project, and we chose Defersol because of their responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail. The time from initial interview to project start was about 3 weeks, owing mostly to weather. What impressed me is that David remembered all of the fine details we had discussed at that first meeting. His workmen were professional and courteous. They left the area spotless, and many neighbors commented on the quality of their work.

I hired David to widen a door frame. He responded to my initial request almost immediately. He gave me a quote over the phone, which was really convenient. I got quotes from 2 other contractors and David gave me the best price AND got the job done faster than what the others quoted me.
