I LOVE kids of all ages - I have two of my own! I love capturing all the sweet, treasured moments throughout life. Photographs are like a little time capsule that forever shows exactly who a person is at that moment, from the time they are a fresh newborn baby until they are having babies of their own. I love making people feel beautiful, and allowing them to see their beauty in the photographs that I take. I love providing people with images that the generations they will never meet will cherish. I used Sarah Metz for dating profile pictures. Sarah contacted me same day and was able to schedule a one hour photo session immediately, arrived promptly at the chosen location, was very personable, images available for review as promised, quality work, as well as customer service. Some of the images were too large to upload on the dating site and Sarah offered to resize them immediately. Scheduling the session and having the images in 5 days! I will definitely use her again for family pictures, Mother's Day is coming up and we are wanting to have a 3-generation picture taken.

I haven't yet had the pleasure to work with Sarah Metz, but looked through her Facebook page and was quite impressed with her work. She has a great eye for the camera, and is a natural at photographing babies, children and adults (this is a difficult skill which I appreciate!). I will definitely hire Sarah for a future important occasion, such as baby or wedding photography, looking forward to it!

Sarah is the only one I trust to take beautiful natural pictures of my children and family. She is extremely patient with my children and takes pictures of them that show their true personalities. Her pictures are never staged or stiff looking. She has an excellent eye for all settings be it formal portraits in a studio to portraits taken in the outdoors. She is very creative and offers suggestions when asked. She conducts herself professionally at all times and is extremely easy to work with. Being a mother of young children, it's important to me that a photo shoot be fun for the kids and that their photos turn out great. Sarah has never disappointed me and I use her pictures for all of our Christmas Cards. Several of my family and friends have commented on our photos and I have been able to proudly state that Sarah Metz was our photographer.

Describing Sarah Metz's work I can almost never find words to fit the level of quality and just pure perfection. Sarah is not only a fabulous photographer she is also a mother and someone very understanding of the time and care needed to get that magical shot. We have had Sarah take everything from maternity to newborn, infant, teen, family and everything in between. I look forward to years and actually a lifetime of Sarah's photography to fill the walls of my home. The only problem you will find with her pictures is choosing! They are all just breath taking, the colors and image quality is crisp and clear and beautiful, her black and white photos are just so wonderfully done. I have nothing but praise for Sarah Metz at art soul photo. I have sent numerous happy clients to her and will continue to do so, no one leaves my home without knowing who is taking their next family photo! She is the best, her talent is undeniable and she is so much fun to have a session with. I am eagerly awaiting the time for my final maternity shoot with Sarah. Getting the pictures back, you feel like a kid on Christmas morning, she's the best!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I absolutely do! Most importantly, I belong to the PPA - Professional Photographers of America - where I recently earned the designation of CPP - Certified Professional Photographer. Certification is not required, it is just a step I took to continue my education as a photographer, and to assure current and potential customers that I am doing everything I can to be the best photographer I can be. The PPA offers a huge amount of educational opportunities throughout the year, both locally and online. I also belong to several forums for professional photographers. We learn from each other, bounce new ideas around to keep our work fresh, and support each other. I also attend online seminars and workshops. I have also attended workshops in Sacramento and San Francisco that have allowed me to learn a great deal about my profession. I have always loved learning new things, and that is more true than ever when it comes to photography!
