I had a unpermitted room addition that the city wanted plans and permits for. Alan help me with the city helped me with things I didn't know how to do. he was quick with the plans and then when we resubmitted the plans he was right on time again couldn't have been happier with this service. I'd use them again for any architectural plans I may have in the futureNov 8, 2018VerifiedPikul Inc/Apcotects's reply
Thank you Kevin.......it was a pleasure working with you! We're excited for you and that your project went as fast and efficient as it did! Thank you for this review!
Contracted with APCOTECH (Alan Pikul) to provide architectural services for new home. Terminated contract early in process after receiving (IMHO) no value added design content. Do not recommend using Alan for design purposes.Apr 20, 2015VerifiedPikul Inc/Apcotects's reply
David is the only customer we've ever had that didn't like our designs. Our designs and General Contractor work are efficient and functional. Our opinion looking back is that he wanted a "wow effect" it was his first custom home.......and we just didn't provide that. Our designs may not ever win awards for "wow effect" but they will be fast, efficient, and well planned! As Design-Build contractors most people are very happy with how we do things!
APCOTECTS/APCO Construction Services of Menifee, CA, recently completed a project at our home. During rain there was an unseen roof leak that caused seen leaking evidence onto a bedroom ceiling, major water splashing from the patio cover onto about 12 feet across an outside wall causing extensive soaking of the wall down to the patio floor, and gutter overflowing. Alan from APCO, timely responded to our request. He came in and made an evaluation of needed repairs, wrote a reasonable cost and expeditious completion (3 days) time frame estimate, including a general contract. The 3 days of repairs were made by Mike within the agreed period. Some specifics are, He: (1) discovered the cause of the roof leak and repaired it; (2) removed part of the bedroom ceiling, replaced, and re-textured the entire ceiling; (3) added flashing and sealing across the entire width of the patio roof; (4) raised, lowered, and/or leveled and cleaned gutters as necessary; (5) and more. Mike also left his work areas clean and neat each day. It is now such a pleasure to observe after the recent (12/5-12/2014) unusually heavy rains, a dry and original condition bedroom ceiling, a dry outside wall, and gutters that are not overflowing. Thank you Alan and Mike for a job well done. Gloria and Bill.Dec 13, 2014
Priced a 600 sq foot blueprint job at over $3,000 for a building that is already builtMay 15, 2018VerifiedPikul Inc/Apcotects's reply
Our mistake providing an estimate without knowing the facts of the job. Customer didn't want to give us all the information for his project but we still gave an estimate.......... that was our mistake! Our bad.........still we don't think it's right that we should be rewarded with a one-star review for giving a free estimate!
Apcotects was hired to complete plans for a tenant improvement project. They were fast, efficient, worked within my budget, and were very patient with all my questions. Alan, James and Benjamin were all very professional and friendly. I would definitely hire them again.Aug 20, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?More than 20 years of experience in business and hundreds of completed projects has shown us what prices have to be to stay in business. Our prices are fair and very calculated. We don't mess around. Just simple honest, responsible and friendly service!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Everything starts with contacting the client. Find out as much information on project as possible. If the client is in agreement we will then meet at the site to confirm and sign contracts.
