Introduction: I believe that I am a incredibly unique music teacher for a few key reasons. I have a very subtle approach that allows the student to pick their own musical curriculum. I simply give them the tools to follow there musical journey. I can teach them how to view music from a very open perspective and, in turn, help them develop themselves as musicians based on their own expectations. I feel blessed to be able to teaching music for a number of reasons. I feel totally fulfilled when I can help someone experience the endless joy in playing a simple melody. I also love opening people's minds to the beauty and incredible symmetry behind music harmony and improvisation. It is such a joy to see the expressions on my student's faces when they simply let go and allow the music flow freely from their bodies.

Lukas has been our piano teacher for over two years now. We love him! He loves what he does, he is great with our son, and he has an amazing patience (our son has special needs). I cannot wait for my daughter to be a little older and start piano with Lukas.

You will not find a more talented teacher/musician than Lukas. Lukas is the "real deal"--he studied at Berkelee, he's played with some of the very best, and he's actually toured with a rock band. He's got the talent and he's got the "cool factor" to make the experience fun and REAL. My sons LOVE working with him (they play piano and guitar). Even I took vocal lessons. He was incredibly supportive, and I learned a ton, including learning to love to sing. We have gone to many schools/teachers/camps and no experience comes close to what we have with Lukas. His sharing his passion for music and instilling it in your kids is such a gift. Thank you, Lukas!

Lukas teaches music to both of my children, ages 6 and 8. He is knowledgeable, kind, patient, and enthusiastic. Perhaps most importantly, he can sense their mood and work with them wherever they are.

My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Lukas since her previous teacher retired. Lukas was highly recommended by friends of ours, and he is great. Lukas is very knowledgeable, energetic, and has great passion for music. He connects well with students, and as a musician who plays in a band he's lives music every day.

I have recently been working with a talented high school student. I have been showing him the basic elements of jazz theory and harmony. He has worked very hard and has come a very long way. He has attended the Stanford Jazz Workshop and is starting to develop his own musical voice as an improviser. I am extremely proud of him and I am grateful for the opportunity to help guide him and other young people that want to study jazz and modern music.
