I rarely write reviews, but this one is well deserved.

I hired Thumbtacker to repair a door that had been previously worked on by another handyman. The original repair was poorly done and left me with more problems than solutions. Thumbtacker quickly identified what was wrong, explained the issue clearly, and fixed it properly.

Alex is great! He responded right away and communicated well (he uses a translator app which worked great) and came over within hours of posting my project.

The door modifications I needed were technically tricky and he had the knowledge to handle them.

He stayed late to finish the project in one day which we really appreciated.

He quoted a price and stuck to it even though he needed to make a trip for a rarely used tool bits and he didn’t charge extra for it even though they cost over a $100.

I’m very frugal but paid him a little extra for being so great!
