Photographer based out of Orange County, CA. I picked up my first DSLR back in 2013 and haven't been able to put it down since. I am self-taught with a passion for all things photography, lighting, film & digital. I am honored to have people entrust me during the most meaningful moments of their lives. I originally hired Joe to be our wedding photographer and engagement photos. Sadly, our May 2020 was postponed and still in the works, but our engagement photos were so beautiful! Joe also helped me take new professional photos and headshots for my LinkedIn profile while I was job hunting and working with him is very easy. I hate getting photos taken and I usually feel really awkward, but Joe was very easy to talk to and made the process a lot more comfortable. He gave really great advice before taking each shot and I was blown away when he sent me all the final photos. You can tell he's been doing this for a long time and he i very professional. I cannot wait for our wedding to happen and see the photos Joe will take.

Joe Nguyen is an amazing photographer who has mastered his craft. Before each photo session, we discuss my vision for the photos and he provides suggestions for the best locations to shoot that vision. He answers any questions you may have. He knows all the best places and times to shoot. He has been our family photographer for over ten years. He has captured beautiful memories from our wedding, first year anniversary, maternity, children’s birthday parties, and every Christmas holiday. He makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera with his relaxed nature and directions. He also is able to direct and photograph our children with ease. It can be awkward posing for a photographer but not with Joe! He knows how to direct you so you are relaxed and not stiff in front of the camera. The photos he takes are beautiful. He will send you an email in a very timely manner with a link to view your photos. All photos are edited and look amazing. He is so detailed as to remove any flyaway hair! He can also print any photos you like on a canvas. He is professional and truly an artist at his craft. We look forward to our next photo session with Joe!

I’ve worked with Joe a number of times. Each time he was super accommodating and nice. From our first shoot I felt very comfortable shooting with him. He is always willing to work with me with how I want my photos etc. He always sent me my photos in a short period of time and I always was so excited with how they turned out!! He always uses a number of cameras that includes different styles of photos, which is something I liked very much. Shoot with him, he is great:)

I offer competitive rates and strive to always over deliver.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial booking date and time is confirmed, I will go over any logistics with the client in order to ensure the process is as seamless as can be. Communication before, during, and after the entire process is crucial.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Primarily self-taught, but that's not to say I've done a ton of lighting and portrait workshops when I first began. I've since then worked with countless professionals in the wedding and portrait industry.
