I should say that I’m more than happy with the quality of the build for my utility 5x8 deck with safety railing and steps on the steep concrete hill. Despite the quite difficult location for the structure, Javier quickly understood the scope of the work, asked the right questions to make sure the design meets my expectations and is up to the building code. In my case it was an important aspect as other candidates pushed me to inflate of the scope for the project, rather than listen to what I need. The structure was built pretty quickly and turned out to be looking very good. The results definitely exceeded my expectations (and eng-design drawings). The city inspector was happy with the structure as well. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend Ayuuk Construction to others."See more

Patrick G. says, "Avi from Wooden Onyx was excellent! I hired him to fix a railing on our front steps that had some wood rot / moisture damage from water collecting on it. Even though this was a small job, Avi was very thorough and walked me through his recommended approach. He was extremely responsive during the hiring process and on the execution of the work. He did an excellent job of replacing the rotted section and installing a new redwood handrail and made sure it was sealed off correctly so no future moisture could creep in. He worked efficiently and made sure I was pleased with the work. I’m very satisfied with his work and would be happy to use him again for future projects. He’s also a very easy to talk and we had a good conversation while he went about the job and provided some insight on how to keep the railings in good condition moving forward. 👍"See more

Two things I like to highlight: 1) When I was asking others, I was told that they can't build a double swing gate that opens upward. Odain made it happen! 2) Work ethic: it was raining quite a bit during the construction. Crew stayed and had been working till late to a point we kept looking out of the window and wonder when they'll stop :) I think it's safe to say that I've never seen anyone else with such a strong work ethic. Overall, really happy with it and strongly recommend it."See more
