Derean was recommended to me by another photographer I had worked with. Through out the process, Derean was very responsive and communicative. On the day of the shoot, we were blessed with an overcast day since we were shooting outdoors and this provided an even lighting. We had agreed to 2 hours and 3-4 outfits, and we were able to get it done in a little over an hour (it was a cold day!) I received the proof within a week and was very impressed with the quality of the photos and the variety of poses. I’m not a good poser and Derean gave me great direction and I’m very happy with the result!

I got my masters last year and I couldn’t have chosen a better photographer to capture the special moment for me since my graduation was cancelled. I typically hate being in front of a camera but Derean made it easy and comfortable. He truly knows how to capture a story through a lens. I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to capture those happy moments in life. 10/10.

My experience was nothing short of being top tier service. Derean helped me learn SO much in adobe lightroom. He has given me an abundance of guidance with my photography and editing skills. He has been an amazing teacher and HIGHLY recommend him to anyone interested in learning the craft or just looking to have their photos taken! Darean is a phenomenal photographer. Not only did he deliver on an outstanding shoot with my family and I, he also gave me a lesson in photography. We went down to Long Beach and he gave me a thorough block of instruction on how to use my camera, how to engage with potential clients, and how to develop an eye for good lighting and framing. Najé Photography is definitely a world class experience.
