Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Loving well isn't something we are taught in school and many of us didn't have the best role models growing up. Deep love can challenge us in ways that nothing else can; it inspires the very best in us, and can trigger the absolute worst. One of the biggest challenges we face is: How can I love you without giving up me? So many of us lose ourselves into love. Relationship work is my passion. Helping couples recover from difficult relationship challenges such as infidelity, running on auto-pilot, wondering how life got in the way of love. How about you? Are you feeling disconnected? Not sure if you are still "in love"? Trying to decide whether to stay or go? Recovering from Infidelity / Divorce? Dealing with a blended family? Preparing for Marriage? Relationship work is my main focus and passion! I work with people NATIONWIDE via Zoom or phone or from my office in Newport Beach, CA. (Insurance is NOT applicable.) Would you like to partner with someone who can help you passionately re-engage with your partner? Career? Life? Yourself? My clients and I create a partnership that helps us dive deep, and release whatever is standing in the way of creating strong, solid, viable connections within themselves and with others. I am currently writing two books to help people work through INFIDELITY. When I take someone on as a client, my commitment to their growth and healing is strong. We work together as a team. I am consistent and available, in session, and between sessions as needed. I consider it a privilege to facilitate relational healing and am committed to facilitate connection, healing and transformation, in the most expedient and thorough ways possible. I have helped hundreds of couples get their relationship back on track, and/or recover themselves after a Breakup. My background, along with my doctorate in clinical psychology, and my work as a practitioner in the field for over 15 years, gives me both the experience and education needed to serve my clients in powerful ways. My strong corporate background gives me an unusual edge. I function as an executive coach, coaching business leaders, and mediating conflict to successful resolution. I have created outstanding interdepartmental training programs, and facilitate communication workshops, and couples programs. I help individuals, couples and executives, live into their best version of themselves, that includes cultivating the skills of deep listening, and authentic expression, which helps build connection. None of us sets out wanting to hurt our partner. And yet, when we are unable to effectively communicate our needs, or listen from a place of trust, it can be very painful, for both parties. When our relationships are in distress, it impacts every facet of our lives. Being able to listen, hear, problem-solve, and speak our truth in ways that create connection rather than withdrawal, is an art which can be learned. The more we are able to demonstrate our love, and trust in our partner and ourselves, the more extraordinary our life can become. Love heals. Learning how to give and receive love generously is the greatest gift we can give to our partner, our children, and ourselves.

After months with several disappointing counselors, we found Dr. Jeanne. Her approach is impressively different for 3 reasons: 1) she got to essence of the issue -- quickly went beyond the "superficial layers" and discovered the "issue behind the issue", 2) she is extremely fast -- after every session we experienced immediate, significant shifts and although sometimes this stuff can be difficult, she made it palatable in a way that both my husband and I appreciated 3) she does so much more than marriage counseling -- after we got through some "big" issues, she coached us to resolve a number of important business issues that we have been struggling with for some time. But the bottom line is that I can honestly say, that she did in fact help us save our marriage. The fourth nice sugar on top is that she has a very soothing and calm manner, making the difficult issues that are so hard to face, more palatable and easier to approach. I highly recommend her, she will save you considerable time, pain and money -- and most importantly, she gets results.

As a family law attorney-mediator, I work with clients going through some of the most emotionally challenging times of their lives. As such, a colleague of mine introduced me to Dr. Michele approximately 7 years ago. The two of us immediately connected and realized that we were kindred spirits of sorts in the way that we both genuinely care about our clients and their well-being. I have great admiration and respect for who Dr. Michele is not only as a professional, but also as a human being. She is compassionate, caring, kind, and introspective on one side. Then on the other side she is strong, intellectual, motivating, and can be a no-nonsense driving force when the situation calls for it. I firmly believe that it is critical to find a therapist who is a good fit for you in order for therapy to be able to be as effective as possible and to have the greatest impact on that individual. Dr. Michele is one of the few therapists who I refer to who I feel is a good fit for a variety of my clients. She works well with men, women, couples, and teens, alike. Her experience is vast and well-diversified, and as such has given her a very strong skill set. I refer to her regularly and consistently and appreciate the level of caring and expertise she brings to the table for my referrals time and time again!

Thank you so much for your kind words Colleen. I appreciate the people you send my way, either to help them reunite, or recover themselves after a breakup. I am passionate about mentoring couples and individuals and helping them gain the clarity they need to learn, grow, and create healthy, thriving relationships. I appreciate your taking the time to write this beautiful review. You are a very gifted attorney / mediator who truly cares about guiding couples to make the best choices possible, including advising them to work on their relationship when you sense they may be able to save it. This is a rare gift for someone in your profession. It is a pleasure working with you.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My client work is very collaborative. We work together to develop strategies to help you realize your vision in your relationship and your life. We then develop a plan to help you work through whatever is in the way of creating the life you want to lead. For couples, sometimes I work with you individually, and sometimes as a couple. We work on strengthening your ability to listen; speak your truth and connect more deeply and effectively. We work together to identify and help you realize your goals, visions, and dreams.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, and have a very strong Corporate background. I "grew up" in the business world which gives me strong insight into career development, particularly in the areas of employee relations, Success and Leadership development, and the development of cohesive teams. If you are an entrepreneur or executive and looking for someone to help you strategize and grow, personally, and professionally, I would love to speak with you!

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been interested in psychology and what makes people think, love, and make the choices they make as long as I can remember. Engaging in conversations about love and life has always intrigued me. Ultimately I went back to school, (lots of school!) and made the break from my professional corporate life into the world of helping people rediscover themselves and each other, and reshape their lives. I love and am passionate about this work. I get to meet and work with some really incredible people and help them discover and learn how to create what they really, really want in life and love!
