Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Over many years, I have met with hundreds of couples and have witnessed the transformation from a broken, "separate lives/roommate" relationship to a relationship where both people connect on a deeper, more loving and respectful level. You will learn how to increase your fondness for each other and decrease the negative comments about each other. I can help you learn better ways to communicate and how to look at the relationship without the negative "chatter" always playing in your head. I have advanced training as a Gottman Couples Therapist and use the most effective therapy techniques available to help my couples achieve the type of relationship they envision. My couples tell me that my wisdom and maturity add to the therapy experience, as well as my gentle way of guiding my couples to understand effective communication methods and how to increase personal intimacy. I want my couples to succeed at improving their relationship and provide a caring, nonjudgmental approach to my therapy sessions. I am privileged to be able to come to work and have people trust me enough to share their deepest concerns. It is my honor to help others and I am proud to be part of a process that helps marriages stay together. There is no other job that I would rather do, and my reward is having someoe tell me their "relationship is better".

Linda Price began seeing me as a client when my life was in turmoil, transitioning out of an extremely abusive relationship, lacking in confidence, financially insecure, wounded, and exhibiting diminished rational thinking. Linda responded to my needs and dialogue in a non-judgmental manner with insight, comfort, and respect. No issue that I wanted to discuss was ever passed up as insignificant or not important enough. Instead, Linda would help me to explore each topic and to distinguish a reasonable level of importance or influence it may have on the bigger picture. Linda helped me to single out the deeper wounds of abuse and to recognize the common cycle of abuse. Linda was always patient, caring and attentive through my process of recovery. She never left me "hanging" or doubtful until the next session. I am currently a confident and successful woman today with an optimistic outlook on life and a joyous heart. To this end, Linda has been an ever-present influence and friend. I am deeply grateful and blessed that Linda Price has been a part of my journey. Thank you, le

I have been to many marriage therapists and while my marriage unraveled right before Dr. Price, she genuinely cared for both of us and without her I would not have been able to make it through this. Her understanding is coupled with exceptional education and enough heartbreaking experiences in her personal life to truly be both empathetic and guiding. Linda is truly one of the rare councerlors who could save your marriage if gone to soon enough and will help you save yourself and family if too late. I have referred many couples and individuals to her and ALL have sent glowing reports back to me.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I have a set fee for my sessions. However, I will offer a 10% reduction to those couples who are having financial difficulties.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I see my couples for one hour weekly during the first 6 to 8 weeks of therapy, then we go to every other week and then monthly sessions. Sometimes my couples ask for 1.5 hour sessions or marathon sessions (over 2 hours) which I will also accommodate. I also see my couples individually to get important background information. There will be questionnaires to fill out and "life" work assignments between sessions to increase the success of therapy. We will work together to set goals for your therapy and I will be checking in with you to make sure the goals are being met.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

There are hundreds of therapists to choose from, but not all therapists have advanced training in couples work. Individual therapy and couples/marriage counseling require different skill sets and different types of approaches. I offer many years of experience and advanced knowledge and training to help my couples.
