Hygge Desserts

Introduction: Our story... Hygge Desserts was born out of love for creating sweets that are not too sweet. We found that most desserts sold were filled with sugar syrups, preservatives, and lacked flavor. We were inspired to create something different. Being a mom of two and a wife to a husband with a sweet tooth, I knew I had to create something special that satisfied their craving but was less sweet than desserts on the market. Thus began the journey of recipe testing, tweaking the ingredients, and sugar amounts to bring out the real flavors… Origin of the name: Hygge is a Danish word for creating a warm environment and enjoying little moments in life with people you love… As I was reading the Little Book Of Hygge by @meikwiking from the Happiness Research Institute, I realized that my husband and I created just that- hygge in our little home. A safe, cozy place full of laughter, candles, tea, and hugs. Our favorite thing to do is to be together with our two little humans and one four legged, surrounded by our family and friends to enjoy the simple things in life.
