FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't be afraid to ask questions! People need to consider how much time they have and how much time are they willing to devote to the training. I always tell my clients upfront if they do not change their behavior their dog(s) absolutely will not change their's, after all - why should they? What they have been doing regardless of positive or negative has been working for them. A second very large point is how comfortable you feel with your trainer? Are they knowledgeable and do they take into account your dog(s) temperament and what will realistically work for them. A good trainer will consider all factors - the dog, the family structure, personalities, work schedules, time constraints, etc. So do take the time and have a heart to heart talk with all family members involved and discuss what is realistic and what will you follow through on. Nothing is worse then feeling you have throw your time and money away.
