FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing reflects the current market value for high end quality materials and "Best Practices" level of workmanship. We strive to stay up to date on the newest products and materials, study up regularly on code upgrades, and regularly research the latest trends in building and assembly techniques.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing we need is a site walk through. A meeting time and day is set for introductions, review the project, and go over all the details that may factor into the scope of work. A walk through of project site inevitably presents more items to consider than originally anticipated.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Experience is always the best teacher, learning hands on from mentors as well as those "hard knocks". As far as formal education goes: - I graduated high school from the School of Arts in SF with a "drawing and design" specialty, while simultaneously attending design courses at CCAC. - I went on to work in the film and theater industry as a set builder and designer for about 10 years. - I then graduated Silicon Valley College with an AAS in Computer Graphics & Drafting. - A short 2 year stint as a freelance graphic designer brought me back to the construction industry when in 2002 I got my contracting license and started my remodeling company.
