Board and train at a facility
Dog training saves lives, and Holly has what it takes to help dogs and their families develop a bond that will keep everyone out of trouble! Our dog has a great temperament but a mind of her own, along with a strong prey drive (that may extend to smaller dogs, as she has bitten one before and lunged at others). Holly has helped us get our dog into a mindset where those distractions are not overpowering. We could not be happier to know that our dog will be able to be a safe and loving part of our family. She worked wonders with our dog, and I'm confident Holly has the skill to handle more extreme cases. Worth every penny and then some!May 24, 2015Verified

Holly was excellent with our two dogs. She explained her dog training approach clearly and quickly improved our dog's behavior and explained what we as owners should do going forward. In a space of a day, she performed miracles. She is extremely responsive and very caring. I would highly recommend her!Apr 19, 2015Verified
Dog Training - Board and Train
The first time I met Holly she was very professional. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field. I could tell immediately that she is very passionate and loves what she is doing. She explains everything she is doing and the reasons why she is doing it clearly. She brought an entire bag of equipment with her. I had originally called Holly because I was unable to walk my dog without her barking and lunging at other dogs. I have a 87 lb CAS so it was a big issue. After deciding on the proper equipment and making sure it fit properly she got to work. She is a stickler for making sure equipment fits properly. I could go on and on about how wonderful she is and how successful our training has been (I now have the tools and knowledge to walk my dog) but the bottom line is you need to take the knowledge and tools Holly provides and be consistent with your dog. I have learned a lot from her. If you love your dogs like I do and need some help Holly is definitely the one. After calling and speaking with her you will see why I have so much respect for her. Happy training!!Sep 14, 2015Verified
Holly were awesome! Thanks to her training/guiding of Lemmy, he now walks relaxed by my side, gladly ignoring distractions such as cats, squirrels, other less than calm dogs, and, yes, even fastfood bags full of "treasures". With the training of the "place" command he can now calmly sit down outside our fav coffee shop, being at peace with other dogs walking by and ignoring other distractions. Also, Holly got Lemmy to stop rushing the door every time someone come to visit. Now he waits for my "release" before greeting my guests, and no more "crazy" barking! The joy of a confident, calm, happy dog is huge!!! Thx Holly!!!Sep 26, 2014
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I am an open book with regards to pricing: you as my client have the right to know exactly what you're paying for and what the results will be for your outlay of time, money, energy , involvement and commitment. I don’t sell endless lessons by the hour - I sell results. Guaranteed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Just call us up when you’re ready to train! If you’re having problems with your dog, tell me your pain. ( If you’re REALLY REALLY READY to fix the problems - we’ll start the same day.) No problems, just looking to do more with your already well-behaved pooch? To start your soon - to-be new puppy or rescue dog off on the right foot? Need help selecting a companion? Woot! Tell us your dreams...the “process” is the same. (We don’t eschew technology, but we’re folks who still like to “talk to a human”, so we make ourselves available - give us a ring! )
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have an STS degree from a Big Ten University, am a T3 "Train the Trainers" program alum, and am a certified remote collar specialist. I have recently completed a week-long problem-solving training intensive with the good folks @ K9 Connection in NYC. I am a proud member of the IACP ( The International Association of Canine Professionals ),as well as the IAECA ( International Association of Ecollar Advocates) DC (Dog'sChattin'), and RRR ( Reasonable Rational Respectful) Dog Training forums. I take as many workshops and classes with as many different types of professionals as I can possibly fit in -there's no end to learning!
