We worked with the A2Z team on a renovation of our downstairs to convert a den space into a new bedroom/office with a full bathroom, our living room to make it a more open floor plan, and updated the electrical in the whole house. We began the project in January of this year and were able to move back in June with the project fully completed in July.
The project manager we worked with was Meir and we would plan to meet weekly to review and discuss the progress of the project. The project did complete a little later than expected as there were a few setbacks and challenges that came up but Meir was always there to work with us to make sure we were happy with the work/solution for these setbacks and challenges. Meir always made himself available for a chat either by text, phone, or email. If there was something that needed my attention or an update following an inspection, Meir would notify me right away so I was kept informed of everything.
After everything was completed, my wife and I were happy with the work at our home. When I am walking around my home, it feels like a brand new home and I forgot how it used to look. There were some bumps in the road during this project but now we enjoy being back in our home and had a super positive experience with Meir and A2Z. Just finished a renovation with A2Z Remodeling. I bought my house four years ago, and we felt that it was time for a change since the house was really old. We removed a wall between the kitchen and the dining room, renovated the kitchen, the bathroom and changed the flooring throughout the house. Meir was our project manager, he was very communicative and he helped us to finish in time and budget. The team was very respectful for our house, they are really knew what they’re doing.
It feels like we got a brand new home now :)

A2Z Remodeling inc. was an amazing group to work with on our remodel. We planned an extensive remodel that included moving and rebuilding an entire kitchen, relocating a dining room, rebuilding a living area, all new floors (including Herringbone designed wood floors), complete interior and exterior paint and all new appliances and sinks. To say the least, Meir and the rest of the A2Z team were superb!
Our job was extensive and we knew it would be on the upper end of our budget and take several months. We meet with several contractors after our architect drew up the plans. The quotes from several were way of scale and a few came in around the expected budget. A2Z was one such company. From the moment we meet Meir and Dror from A2Z we knew they were a fit and their budget was realistic. Furthermore, as the project went on, there were no surprise charges as you commonly find with other contractors. Their budget truly reflected the work to be done. The only extra costs were when we added extra items or changed plans, never on their part. In fact, often times if it was a small thing they would just throw it in at no charge!
The work done was impeccable. From the flooring, to installing folding windows and doors to even installing a hidden door into our wine cellar, they took each task very seriously, professionally and completely quickly. We thought our remodel would take over 6 months before we could move back into the house, but A2Z has us back in just 4. Lastly, we had our entire kitchen designed and constructed by Berkeley Mills, which is a very slow group to work with. Meir kept them on track and reduced the delays that Berkeley Mills encounters in their projects.
Now that we have completed this project, we are looking forward to finding a new one to work with A2Z again. Best experience we could have and here are the things we had done:
Install wood floors --- Herringbone design that was not easy
Install all appliances --- induction stove, Wolf refridgerator, sink, oven.
Install all counter tops
Paint entire outside of house ----- very well done at 1/3 price of all others.
Coordinated all scaffolding
Painted entire inside of house.
Installed 5 new windows and folding doors from La Catena and Marvin.
New electrical with extra electrical box
Installed all lighting and fixtures.
Installed Heath Ceramic fireplace and kitchen accents
Installed hidden door for wine cellar.
Electrical for shades and mounting
All clean up and disposal of demolition materials.
