I'm currently offering my services for SAT/ACT, English, GMAT, and GRE tutoring to those in SF or the East Bay (other areas are possible, but this depends on availability).
I was a secondary teacher for 5 years, and then a school consultant for a year in a large, local school district. I have my M.Ed. in secondary education from Loyola Marymount (while teaching with TFA), as well as my MBA and JD degrees from Northwestern University (top 5 business school and top 10 law school).
Due to my exceptional qualifications and experience, I charge $60-100 per hour, depending on the need, distance and number of hours. With the advantage that one-on-one tutoring gives to students, I've found that my cost is more than made up by success in school admissions and scholarships.
I also run a tutoring service and am more than willing to refer you to the right person if I'm not a good match for you.
