FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work with clients on a sliding scale and if they need a payment plan or discounts then we can negotiate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss the type of massage they are looking for, their medical history as well as how much they can afford, and when and where they would like to schedule their session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been educated at Medical Training College in Baton Rouge, LA where I received my Certificate in Massage Therapy for 756 hours. I worked for Massage Envy in Baton Rouge for a year completing over 2000 hours of massage and working with hundreds of clients as well as recieving additional Prenatal, Hot Stone and Pro Heat Massage Training. After leaving Baton Rouge and moving back to my hometown of Mobile, AL, I started my practice partnered with Quiet Mind Massage and Yoga where I learned to work on clients with ms, paraplegia, transverse myelitis, and many different post surgical rehabs. After 2 and 1/2 years there I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and started working with Rincon Chiropractic Massage and Acupuncture and the University of California Berkeley Rec Sports Clinic. My clients included many athletes, office and construction workers with many different types of structural and postural imbalances. I also worked for Equinox Spa and the Hotel Vitale Spa where I worked with clients working on their physical fitness, relaxation and weight loss programs.
