FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee for the 90 minute intake is $350. The fee for 50 minute psychotherapy (talk therapy) is $190. At times, the patient requests "medication management", then I may see the patient for 15 minutes, every month, sometimes every 2nd, 3rd or 4th month. The fee for the medicaition management is $100. 20 percent of my practice is "pro bono" or "sliding scale." Please call me to see if a spot is open. My secret to success is that I answer the phone when not with a patient and return calls ASAP.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I request a complete intake and focus on the patients' difficulty. I want to understand what the patient is experiencing. I will provide a plan for psychotherapy and offer medications. My approach is Western Medicine. (I graduated from Harvard College and Stanford University School of Medicine.) I prescribe FDA medications and controlled substances in a collaborative and appropriate manner. I will offer the benefits, alternatives and risks of treatment alternatives.
